Saskia Leopold

Saskia Leopold specializes in intellectual property, unfair competition, and media and art law. She enjoys both working on litigious matters as well as providing ongoing legal advice to her clients, such as advising them on the integrity of advertising campaigns, developing long-term brand strategies, or drafting and reviewing license agreements. With her in-depth expertise in trade secret protection, Saskia Leopold is also happy to help her clients develop and implement effective trade secret protection measures. In addition, she regularly handles media law matters—not only defamation and libel but also regulatory matters for media companies. Furthermore, she regularly advises art collectors, foundations, and museums on general matters related to their collections.

Saskia Leopold also publishes regularly and lectures on art law and other current topics, such as at the Vienna Art Law Clinic at the University of Vienna.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Saskia Leopold is a board member of the Leopold Museum Private Foundation and is involved in Leopold Museum’s young supporters’ association, Salon Leopold. Saskia Leopold is also admitted to the New York bar and has studied art history.
